Wolsingham is a traditional British market town situated within the North Pennines AONB. The village is a popular stop for travellers to the lovely Weardale valley, with many pubs, cafes, restaurants, convenience stores, and takeaways to choose from. There’s an indoor pool and gym and a grass bowls club, whilst the Wolsingham Exhibition, the country’s oldest agricultural show, is held the first weekend in September. Wolsingham is a popular base for walking and cycling in the north-east.
