The sleepy little rural village of Dalton, four miles from Thirsk, sits in a perfect touring location for discovering North Yorkshire. With the gateway to the North York Moors National Park to the east and Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west, there are plenty of things to see and do within easy reach.
