About where you'll be staying

Shepton Mallet, a historic town, is a charming blend of the old and new, with beautiful old architecture, a weekly market, as well as a range of stores, bars, and restaurants. Shepton Mallet is located between the towns of Evercreech and Doulting in the Mendip foothills, in the centre of the Mendip District. This is a stunning landscape with interesting places to explore and things to do for everyone. The Royal Bath and West Showground is located in Shepton Mallet; here, one of Britain’s largest agricultural exhibitions is held each year in May or June, and other other events are hosted all year long. The town is conveniently located between Wells, Glastonbury, and Bath. It is also only a 45-minute drive to various family-friendly sites like Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, and East Somerset Railway. You’d be hard-pressed to find a nicer vacation location, and the delicious local cider makes it the perfect drink after a day of touring this region of Somerset.
