Withypool is surrounded by open moorland. Large parts of the village lie on the north side of the river, while. it’s traditional buildings are wrapped in lime washed rendered stonewalls and have slate roofs. Within Withypool, there are local general stores as a well as the tearooms. The Roayl Oak Inn is also worth a visit. Also available are B & B’s and holiday cottages. There are many walks in and around this destination, including the Two Moors Way that passes through the village and Tarr Steps.
