The four-mile-long Hayling Billy coastal path is another haven for walkers and cyclists and the location also offers plenty of sporting opportunities, from windsurfing and sailing to kite surfing and golf. Children have plenty to keep themselves occupied including roller coaster rides at the Funland amusement park. The market town of Emsworth is nestled on Hampshire’s border close by, boasting narrow streets, a harbourside, charming pubs, restaurants and specialist shops, certainly worth a visit.
