Llanberis is dwarfed by the imposing Mount Snowdon; the highest mountain in England and Wales. Many walkers and climbers are drawn by the challenge of Snowdon, but it is also possible to experience the views from the summit by taking the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Llanberis is located in the Snowdonia National Park and offers other attractions for those interested in unspoilt scenery, abundant wildlife and the variety of activities offered by the great outdoors.
