Greenmantle, Skinburness

The sleepy little coastal resort of Skinburness lies on the Solway Firth with wonderful extensive views over the sea to Dumfries and Galloway beyond. It offers inns and restaurants, and a small museum. Just down the road is Silloth with its lovely seafront parks and paved streets along with a variety of pubs, shops and cafes. This is a superb area for walking – the Cumbria Coastal Walk runs right along the coastline, providing excellent seafront trails and birdwatching opportunites.
