Kilgetty, a rural community in Pembrokeshire, is only 2.4 miles away from Cresswell Quay, a charming hamlet of scattered houses on the edge of a tidal estuary. Old quay where boats can still be moored when the tide allows is the main attraction, and the Cresselly Arms is a good place to stop for refreshments. The town of Tenby’s own train station is just a short drive away, as are a variety of shops and pubs. The coastal towns of Saundersfoot and Tenby, which are close by, provide fantastic beaches, watersports, and boat tours to Caldey Island, home to a small gathering of monks and their monastery, are just a short drive from Kilgetty.
