The Dorset town of Christchurch is situated on the estuaries of the Rivers Stour and Avon, where they come together to form a natural harbour. Christchurch boasts an array of shops and restaurants, whilst the 11th century castle ruins and the Medieval priory. No trip to Christchurch would be complete unless you have strolled down to the quayside or been on one of the regular boat trips along the River Stour. There’s also plenty to do in the resort of Bournemouth, or venture into the New Forest National Park.
