Exford, located in the middle of the Exmoor National Park, is a lovely settlement close by. Exford has a village green, tea rooms, a shop, a Post Office, and two ancient inns that provide good food and drinks in a picturesque location by the River Exe. Exford sits in the heart of a walker’s paradise, with miles of well-marked pathways leading through the Exe and River Barle valleys and up to adjacent hills, notably Dunkery Beacon, Exmoor’s highest point with spectacular views over 17 counties.
