Pentre is a pretty riverside village settled close to the incredible scenery of the Bannau Brychein (Brecon Beacons) National Park. The Town offers local shops to browse at your leisure, convenience stores for all of your holiday essentials, as well as a charming selection of cafes, pubs, and restaurants, with options including The Old School Tea Rooms, The Queens Head, and The Best Cafe. The town rests beside the Rhondda River, where there are walks towards Pentre Barracks, as well as trails at Ty’n-y-Bedw, leading out into the countryside.
