Campile, which means ‘head of the creek’, lies to the south of County Wexford, 10 miles from New Ross. Campile is home to the ruins of Dunbrody Abbey, whose visitor centre and yew-tree maze prove popular with visitors each year. Also in the region are Kilmokea House and Gardens, the JFK Arboretum and JFK ancestral home and the beautiful Blue Flag sandy beach at Duncannon. Amenities can be found in New Ross or Wexford, and Campile itself has a shop and a pub.
