Williamstown is a small community in County Galway, situated between Castlerea and Glenmaddy. Despite its small stature, this charming village is home to a service station stocked with daily necessities, a tavern serving a wide selection of beverages, and a fast food restaurant (The Hatch). It’s in a beautiful part of the green, rolling Irish countryside, close to places like the Lough Namucka Bog Nature Reserve and the Cloonfad Scenic Walks, all begging to be explored. Travel westward and you’ll find Lough Mask, where a banshee is said to live and where activities like kayaking, canoeing, and sailing are highly popular.
