Richmond is a market town in Swaledale country, North Yorkshire, where you will find stunning Georgian architecture, cobbled streets and riverside walks, as well as a plethora of places to shop, eat and drink. At the heart of the town is the Norman fortress dating back to 1071, famously situated high above the river.
