Tanygrisiau is a traditional Welsh village with a name which means “below the steps”, referring to the cliffs above the village. It rests within the Snowdonia National Park and is superb for walking and other outdoor pursuits. Close by is Blaenau Ffestiniog, where you will find a wealth of shops, pubs and eateries. Also within close reach is the delightful Betws-y-Coed and the Italianate Village of Portmeirion.
