Full of traditional Yorkshire buildings, this pretty town is the centre for all local farms and villages. Visitors to this lovely settlement will find a variety of tea-rooms, pubs and restaurants in addition to a number of high quality antique shops. There is also a market every Wednesday. Nearby Pickering is also worth visiting as the base of the North York Moors Steam Railway. With excellent walking and cycling routes though the magnificent scenery of the National Park, in addition to villages of Hutton le Hole and Lastingham all within easy driving distance, visitors to Kirkbymoorside will be spoiled for choice.
