The ancient riverside village of Kinver, steeped in history, lies in beautiful Staffordshire countryside on the Worcestershire, Shropshire border. Nearby Stourbridge, famous for its glass making, has many lovely parks while Bewdley, once described as ‘the most perfect Geogian town in Worcestershire’, sits on the banks of the River Severn, close the medieval Wyre Forest with its many walks and cycle routes, and offers a good choice of pubs and cafes along the riverside as well as many tiny shops, antique and art galleries. Also close by are some of the best attractions in the country, including The Severn Valley Railway, the West Midland Safari Park, Cadbury World and the Black Country Living Museum, Ironbridge Gorge or the Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford.
