Garrykennedy is a town and harbour on Lough Derg in Tipperary. The 15th-century Garrykennedy Castle Harbour ruins is a popular site for tourists to store their boats and explore the gorgeous region, which includes a playground, contemporary harbour, and various barbecue spots. Larkins restaurant and Roy Breen Public House are known for their traditional food and live music. Stock up on basics at the Portroe convenience store south of Garrykennedy. Nenagh’s castle, heritage centre, cinema, and supermarkets are nearby. Further along Lough Derg’s shoreline is Dromineer, where you may visit Aqua Splash waterpark and Dromineer Castle. Killaloe lies further south for further water sports.
