The village of Ballygarrett is tucked away amongst the rolling fields of County Wexford. Just 8.6 miles from the town of Gorey, the village has a strong community feel with an imposing church at its centre, as well as two pubs, The Village and The Schooner and a shop where a warm welcome is assured. Just under 2 miles from the village is an expansive beach that stretches along the coastline. There are several beaches in the area, including three just a short drive away, plus several golf courses and driving ranges can be found in and around Gorey and Wicklow. The beauty of the Wicklow Mountains is within easy reach, as is the county town of Wexford, where you will find Selskar Abbey, the National Opera House, Wexford Harbour and Ferrybank Quay.
