You’ll also find Ebchester West Wood, a stunning semi-natural woodland home to a vast variety of wildlife, where you can take morning walks or runs, breathing in the fresh air. The forest borders the River Derwent where you’ll find a small cascading fall and during warmer months why not try some paddleboarding? Venture out and find the stunning village of Beamish, home to the world-famous Beamish, the Living Museum of the North, an open-air museum.
