Huntley is a small village north of the Forest of Dean. There is a 19th century church, a village hall, a gastropub, and a SPAR here. Huntley Quarry, home to a volcanic suite of rocks, will become the county’s first geology reserve. The Docks, St Oswald’s Priory, and the 11th century Cathedral with King Edward II’s tomb are all within 8.5 miles of Gloucester. Visit the Wye Valley and Forest Dean for opportunities to walk, cycle, fish, and follow sculpture trails. Huntley is a great base for exploring this area.
