A little village called Ingleton is located in County Durham’s southwest. The earliest surviving buildings from the late 17th and early 18th centuries may be seen on the village’s main street, including Ivy Cottage, which was built in 1683. The town is 2.5 miles from a newsstand/general store, a fish and chip shop, and a cafe that are located in the small village of Gainford. It also has a local restaurant/public house, a children’s play park with a soccer/cricket field.
