Whitland is a small market town located 15 miles from Carmarthen on the River Tâf. The little town contains a variety of shops, pubs, a train station, dining establishments, and the Hywel Dda Gardens and Interpretive Centre, which has six lovely gardens to explore. A visit to the lovely town of Narberth, with its colourful Georgian mansions, numerous shops, taverns, bistros, and restaurants, is not to be missed. With the Preseli Hills nearby and the renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path immediately accessible, trekkers in your group will be spoilt for choice. The sandy beaches of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire call for relaxing summer days and bracing winter walks, while Heatherton Park, the wonderful Welsh Zoo as shown on TV, Folly Farm, and many more attractions are ideal for family fun days out. One visit to this wonderful destination may not be enough because there is so much to see and do.
