Piccadilly View, Haworth

The famed Bronte sisters, who lived in the little village of Haworth, were inspired by the surrounding moorland to write their works of English literature, which have since become classics. Haworth is a community that time almost forgot, with a plethora of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways, and cobblestone streets providing a lovely period ambiance, all set against a framing backdrop of famously characterised as wild, rough, and bleak in the novel Wuthering Heights landscape. The famed Keighley and Worth Valley train, an actual steam train made famous by the movie The Railway Children, is close by and offers a charming day trip with a regular service to the historic village of Oxenhope.
