One of the largest villages in West Norfolk’s Borough of King’s Lynn is Dersingham. The Norfolk Lavender plant farm, tea rooms, and gift store are close. It is located on the boundaries of the Royal Sandringham Estate, which is home to an elegant mansion, a chapel, and public gardens. Dersingham is well-served by a Post Office, two supermarkets, a butcher shop, newsagents, and takeaway restaurants. It also boasts a lot of local amenities. The surrounding mediaeval Norfolk village of Snettisham is distinguished by the charming golden brown homes that are affectionately referred to as “gingerbread houses” due to the colouring of the local carr stone, which is rich in iron and was used in their construction. The North Norfolk Coast, which includes the kid-friendly coastal town of Hunstanton, is easily accessible, as is the RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell. a great starting point for exploring North Norfolk’s many attractions.
