Located on a small island in the south west corner of County Galway, the pretty village of Lettermore is connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway. This village is home to a welcoming Irish pub, a small convenience store and traditional butcher’s shop, and is also located in an area where the Irish language is still prevalent. This beautiful area of unspoiled countryside offers a wide range of walking and cycling opportunities, as well as great spots for water sports. There are numerous coves, beaches and inlets to explore along the coastline, in addition to great opportunities for sailing, fishing and scuba diving. The Connemara National Park is only a short drive away, whilst the Aran Islands are located just off the coast in Galway Bay.
