In Lincolnshire, there is a lovely market town called Alford. About 11 miles to the northwest of the seaside resort of Skegness, it is situated at the base of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A wide variety of stores are present, including a pharmacy, a grocery store, two butchers, and a sizable store that specialises in doll houses and their accessories. Alford has grown to be a significant arts and crafts hub thanks to the numerous markets that take place there all year long. Every Tuesday and Friday, the major market is held in the Market Place. Additionally, there are annual Christmas markets and an August Bank Holiday craft market. The Grade 1 listed functioning windmill in Alford is famous for producing stone-ground organic flour for industry. With its museum, exhibitions, tearoom, and open gardens, Alford Manor House serves as the town’s focal point.
