The fishing port of Looe is in two parts – East Looe and West Looe. East Looe with its quay area is connected to quieter West Looe by a 19th century bridge. East Looe offers narrow cobbled streets, twisting alleyways and plenty of tourist shops, whilst West Looe has a lovely outlook across the harbour. Bodmin Moor and the Tamar Valley are close by, as well as sandy beaches, National Trust properties, and further afield is Plymouth.
