Other nearby attractions include Whitby and the seashore (9 miles), Hutton-le-Hole, Lastingham, Thornton Dale and Pickering (market town). Alternatively, visit Saltburn by the Sea, a lovely Victorian beach resort, for a more tranquil experience. You may enjoy a steam train trip over stunning moorland countryside from Grosmont, which is close by.
