The wonderful harbour town of Yarmouth is the oldest town on the Isle of Wight and is home to delightful narrow streets with an array of shops and inns, with the busy harbour welcoming many watercraft, plus a visit to Henry VIII’s castle is well worth a visit. The coastal path and the nearby Tennyson Down are a haven for walkers and cyclists, and the beaches at Colwell and Totland Bay have fantastic watersports facilities. Yarmouth is an ideal base for exploring the island.
