Crail is a former royal burgh, parish and community council area in Fife, Scotland. It dates back as far back as the Pictish period, as the place-name suggests. The most notable building in the town is the parish church, situated in the Marketgate from the mid-13th century. Though it has been altered, this is one of Scotland’s most beautiful ancient churches.
