Bridlington is on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two beaches sit either side of the harbour. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the ‘Old Town’ can be found here. There is the East Riding Leisure Centre. Close by is the gateway to Woldgate, an area made famous by the artist David Hockney. Further afield are the Yorkshire Wolds, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby. There are places to visit nearby including Bempton’s RSPB bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke and Flamborough Head.
