About where you'll be staying

Located on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, Chwilog is a small community noted for its breathtaking scenery and numerous hiking trails. It is only a mile to the shore that the Afon Wen river flows through the village. Criccieth, a lovely beach village with a 13th century castle perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains, is only a short drive away from the coast. Visitors who enjoy water sports will be delighted by the town’s two beaches, while the nearby Snowdonia National Park offers an abundance of opportunities for those who prefer to stroll or ride their bikes. There are many places to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, including the beaches, where you can watch porpoises frolic in the water or sample the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Visit the charming harbour town of Abersoch, which is nestled between two magnificent bays. During the summer months, it is one of North Wales’ most popular sailing destinations, hosting major regattas. Tourists may find a wide variety of places to eat, drink, and shop. Windsurfing, waterskiing, and dinghy sailing are all popular pastimes for visitors, as well as renowned surfing at Hell’s Mouth. There are numerous more attractions in the area, including Portmeirion’s Italianate gardens, the bustling harbour town of Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Pwllheli, Caernarfon Castle, and the gorgeous beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula, all within a short drive.
