Sandbach is a large, historic market town near the M6 in Cheshire that dates back to Saxon times, as evidenced by the famous Saxon Crosses that still stand in the cobblestone square. Brereton Heath Nature Reserve is a place to visit with beautiful walking trails and interesting wood sculptures. Visit St. Mary’s Church, a Grade II-listed structure with beautiful stained glass windows and a tranquil churchyard, for something a little different.
