Situated in south-east Lincolnshire and close to the borders of Cambridgeshire and Norfolk is the charming small market town of Long Sutton. This settlement is full of architecturally interesting buildings including St Mary’s Church, which dates from around1170 and boasts the highest wooden spire in the country. The town also boasts some fine examples of Georgian architecture. Every Friday there is a traditional town market with stalls run by local traders and close by is the renowned butterfly and wildlife park – repeatedly voted Lincolnshire’s Family Attraction of the Year – which features an impressive tropical house filled with hundreds of butterflies.
