The quaint village of Wedmore enjoys an elevated position between Somerset Levels and the Mendip Hills. The village has a small selection of shops, cafés and pubs serving food and real ales. The area is a haven for walkers and cyclists with the captivating landscapes that crosses the Levels, while there are also plenty of birdwatching opportunities. Further afield rests the cathedral city of Wells, the smallest city in the country, as well as the ancient town of Glastonbury, famous for its annual music festival.
