York is a historic walled city in North Yorkshire, England, with the River Ouse running straight through. The city was founded by the Romans in 71 AD, dating the city back almost two thousand years ago, however evidence has been found that the city could have been inhabited between 8000 and 7000 BC. With so many attractions to see in the city and a variety of local pubs, restaurants, shops and supermarkets in the area.
