Resting in West Cumbria is the small town of Aspatria, located on the site of an old Roman road and is known for its 19th century St. Kentigern church. Within the town, you will find a working railway, as well as a small collection of shops and pubs, making it a great base for touring further afield. From here, you can explore the Lake District National Park, as well as the market town of Wigton and the port town of Silloth with its large selection of amenities.
