The Lodge at Leigh is a cosy and stylish retreat in the Dorset countryside with an abundance of walking routes from the doorstep and a host of fantastic amenities within the grounds. Spend leisurely days alternating between the hot tub and barrel sauna, before venturing inside to socialise and relax in the open-plan living space. Should you wish to explore the area, take a short drive and discover all that Sherborne (Voted the best place to live in the Southwest in a recent Sunday Times poll) has to offer, while day trips to Weymouth Beach and walks along the Jurassic Coast are within easy reach.
At the heart of the property is the open-plan kitchen/dining room/lounge which is beautifully constructed with wooden ceiling beams and floor-to-ceiling windows. Relax on the L-shaped sofa with the ambience of the flame-effect fireplace and your program of choice on the 55” Samsung Frame TV.
The kitchen space has all you could need to whip up everything from a hearty breakfast to a banquet dinner. There’s an oven and hob, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine, a wine fridge, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, while the dining table seats four.
Meanwhile, French doors lead outside to the enclosed lawned garden at the front of the lodge. Here, you will find your bubbling hot tub, barrel sauna and a dining table for alfresco meals.
There are two elegant bedrooms on either side of the living space, both of which feature king-size beds and luxury en-suite bathrooms and Alexa tech. When the sun is shining, open the huge windows to bring the outside in.
