Knighton is a charming market town on the English/Welsh border on the River Teme. Offa’s Dyke passes through the town, which has an information centre for the trail. Owain Glyndwr’s Way runs through the town, and Radnor Forest and the Radnor Ring Cycling Route are nearby. Visit Powis Castle and its gardens, the Elan Valley reservoirs, Presteigne, Leominster, and medieval Ludlow, with its 13th-century castle, ancient buildings, and wonderful restaurants. Hay-on-Wye, the Town of Books, and Llandrindod Wells are easily accessible by car. Mid Wales, Shropshire, and Herefordshire are nearby.
