Haverigg is a settlement on the south-west coast of Cumbria, England, that was traditionally part of the county of Cumberland. It is located near the mouth of the Duddon Estuary, a protected area with valuable bird and wildlife habitat. Haverigg features a large, peaceful Blue Flag beach. A barrier with a lighthouse that protects Hodbarrow Lagoon, which is part of the Hodbarrow RSPB Reserve, is also accessible. The Lakes, the Lake District, and the 1000ft high fell of Black Combe are all conveniently accessible from this tranquil village on the west coast.
