About where you'll be staying

Ffairfach is a charming countryside village resting between Llandeilo and Ammanford in Carmarthenshire, South Wales. The Welsh name for the village is Ffair-fach signifying ‘little fair’ and is now known for its excellent rail links, whilst offering a choice of attractions including the National Trust’s Dinefwr, a spectacular 17th-century house with castle ruins, a nature reserve, lake and a deer park. Dining options include The Torbay Inn for traditional pub grub, whilst you can stock up on essentials at the village shop. Just north of Ffairach lies Llandeilo, home to a small art gallery and a selection of eateries to choose from, whilst the larger town of Carmarthen is to the east where guests can marvel at Carmarthen Castle. The coast is a short journey away for the vibrant city of Swansea with a whole host of attractions on offer. Outdoor adventurers will have easy access from Ffairfach to the Brecon Beacons National Park for its gentle hills, wildlife and scattering of pleasant market towns.
