Mablethorpe, in the county of Lincolnshire, is a charming coastal resort. The village has a beach and sand dunes where you may go for a stroll and take in the salty air of the ocean. Besides a few chain establishments, you’ll find a nice variety of locally owned boutiques, eateries, and watering holes in Mablethorpe. In town, you can visit the Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary and hang out with seals and other tame creatures. Skegness, a more traditional seaside resort just a few miles down the coast, with many activities and attractions that the whole family may enjoy. Alternatively, you could travel inland to the town of Louth, which is home to Georgian streets lined with Grade II listed buildings, St. James Church, a theatre, an art deco cinema, a museum, a golf course, a modern leisure centre complex, excellent shopping (including weekly market days), and a wide variety of eateries to suit any palate.
