The village of Cononley is in Airedale, four miles from Skipton. There are two pubs, a shop, a takeaway and railway station to Leeds, Skipton and the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway line. Nearby Skipton, “The Gateway to the Dales”, has a castle, a church and a market with a multitude of quality amenities. The other side of Skipton is the Yorkshire Dales, a wondrous landscape, perfect for walking and cycling.
