West Bay is a town often referred to as the Gateway To The Dorset Jurassic Coast and famous for its appearance in the TV series Broadchurch. It is situated close to sandstone cliffs of Golden Cap and at the western end of the pebbly Chesil Beach. As well as a host of amenities, the town is a good vase for exploring the South West Coastal Path and houses opportunities for sea fishing, golf, fossil hunting and boating.
