Brandesburton is an East Yorkshire settlement between Hornsea and Beverley. This rural community features a golf course, a small village green, a number of fishing ponds, and access to a variety of watersports opportunities, all within walking distance of its two local stores, two traditional village inns, three restaurants/takeaways (Chinese, Italian, and Fish and Chips), and a total of five public buildings. On Sundays, the town of Skirlington hosts a popular indoor market and car boot sale. Hornsea, located less than 10 kilometres (6 miles) to the east, is a classic coastal resort with miles of golden sand, a wide promenade lined with flower gardens and pubs serving traditional fare. The mediaeval market town of Beverley, with its imposing minster, unique shops, and plenty of high-end eateries, bars, and cafes, is just a short drive from Brandesburton. Brandesburton is conveniently located near many local mansions and gardens, such as Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House, and Burton Constable Hall.
