About where you'll be staying

South of Scarborough and north of Filey, on the east coast of Yorkshire, is the popular seaside resort of Bridlington. Located on either side of the ancient harbour, these two beaches are renowned for their fine golden sand and thriving tourist industry. Elegantly planned promenades include attractions ranging from carnivals to secluded benches from which to observe the world go by. Bridlington’s shops, attractions, restaurants, and historic “Old Town” give an interesting contrast to beach life, where the newest Dad’s Army has been filmed, and the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides nighttime entertainment. The East Riding Leisure Centre provides both a swimming pool and a wide range of additional indoor activities, perfect for the whole family. Nearby are the popular tourist destinations of Filey, Scarborough, and Whitby, as well as the stunning Heritage Coast. The RSPB bird sanctuary in Bempton, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke, and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves are just a few of the many attractions in the region. Excellent for sightseeing or for those who enjoy watching birds.
