Pilton is a tiny settlement and civil parish in the English county of Somerset. The Crown Inn, a village hall and Working Men’s Club, and Tithe Barn at Cumhill Farm, a Grade I listed building built in the 14th century to house crops for Glastonbury Abbey, are all located inside this lovely town. It’s a fantastic walking area with miles of trails to discover. The West Compton and North Wootton trail, for example, is an easy 7.5-mile walk that explores the Mendip Hills’ southern border. The famed Glastonbury town, which hosts ancient and mediaeval ruins as well as the renowned Glastonbury Music Festival, is close by. Glastonbury Tor, Glastonbury Abbey, and Chalice Well are all worth seeing while you’re here.
