Sandbach is a large historic market town located off the M6 in Cheshire and dates back to Saxon times with its famous Saxon Crosses still visible in the cobbled square. The town offers plenty of interesting shops with many pubs and restaurants to visit. In the centre of Sandbach the market square holds regular weekly markets and a monthly farmers’ market as well as a great Christmas market to keep everyone happy. The Brereton Heath Nature Reserve is a place to visit with some lovely walks and some interesting wood sculptures to see. For something a little different you can visit St Mary’s Church, a Grade II listed building with some beautiful stained glass windows as well as the church yard which is a peaceful place to explore.
