This Welsh village is in the Snowdonia National Park, and is surrounded by the Rhinog, Moelwyn and Arenig mountains. Trawsfynydd Lake is known for its fishing and offers a walking and cycling route. The village has a choice of shops. This area offers outdoor activities including water sports, climbing, walking, fishing, golf and mountain biking. The beaches at Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth are close by, as are the towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog.
